End the Slaughter of Pigeons in Lisbon NOW!!!
Lisbon continues to torture and gas pigeons aiming to extermination of pigeons in Lisbon, invoking pretexts such as public health and the maintenance of buildings and other structures. Capture and sterilization and the usage of contraceptives are alternatives.
Lisbon isn't a good city for animals. In the Summer, at Thursday's night bull are tortured and then killed just for entertainment in " campo Pequeno". Now employees of the the City Council are paid to capture and kill pigeons in a brutal way, in public (even in front of tourists like we can see in the image). Supposedly there is a plague in Lisbon and to keep the public health and the maintenance of buildings and other structures pidgeons are brutally killed. We demand the end of this practices and the implementation of alternatives like sterilization!!!
