Constitutional Amendment on the separation of religion and goverment

There is too much controversy concerning the mixture of religion and Goverment. This is usually referred to under the concept of the "Separation of Church and State", but in fact this language is itself antiquated, as there is no "Church" per se, but a variety of different religions in America. This variety is indicative of the vast pluralism that rightly defines our country, and this is why I see no reason to continually have to waste the courts time with lawsuits and so forth regarding the intrusive Christian assumption that the Judeo-Christian concept of religion and "God" is somehow linked to american Goverment and politics. Let us put the question to rest once and for all by creating a Constitutional Amendment completly separating all religious language, ceremony, symbolism etc. from Govermental and political life in the United States. This includes: 1. taking "In God We Trust" off the money and "one Nation Under God" out of the Pledge (the "god" referred to here is Jehovah, specifically; if it were worded that way, people might get the point a little more clearly!) 2. remove all Decalogue displays from Goverment buildings like City Halls, Courthouses, etc. 3. put an end to prayers before Goverment meetings, swearings on the Bible at inauguration ceremonies, in court proceedings, and so on. It is time the "separation of Church and State", that is religion and Goverment, was made officially the law of the land, not just a guiding concept.
