Reduce the smoking

IUPUI claims to be a smoke free campus, but day afte day I'm walking to class trying to avoid the smoke clouds from the smokers smoking next to the no smoking sign. It's getting out of hand. I have asthma I shouldn't have to suffer on a campus that claims it's smoke free.

IUPUI doesn't need to be completely smoke free but it does need to be more strict on its "tobacco-free" policy. Both IU and Purdue allow its students, faculty, and staff to smoke in their privately on vehchiles. Make that an option for those who want to smoke or give them regulated areas that is not so heavily populated with foot traffic.

It's time IUPUI takes it's "smoke free" campus slogan seriously and if you feel the same, if you're tired of having to avoid smokers that are smoking next to the no smoking sign, make your voice heard. Sign this petition to get your IUPUI campus smoke free.
