In America it has become, when it comes to men, "guilty until proven innocent" we were built on the foundation that you are "innocent until proven guilty." I can not continue to sit idly by as people, particularly women, make numerous false sexual assault and rape claims against other people. There is no punishment for these false claims and that needs to change.
When a little boy at school comes home upset saying he was told that some of the girls at school said he raped them, that's a problem.
This is wrong and it ruins the lives of those who were lied about, but also takes credibility away from true victims of rape and sexual assault.
I move to ask the United States Government to enact a law that gives harsh punishment to those who make false claims of sexual assault. This is to be a federal crime and treated as such with the same harshness someone should receive when they have actually sexually assaulted a person.
America needs to get under control and I don't want my son growing up in a world where he will have to be scared someone will falsely claim him of rape. It's no longer uncommon to hear about this.
