Let SADIE STAY

My dog Sadie bit the states attorey's dog. Sadie was raised on a ranch and was trained to hunt prairie dogs and rabbits( by the previous owner) She confused this small white dog for a rabbit ! I apologized to the owners and offered to pay any vet bills. Then received a call from the state's atterony,informing me he put a hold on my dog and wanted her put down. Sadie was then taken to the pound where she spent 19 days!The case was giving to a different attorney, after fighting it was a conflict if interest for him to work the case. I spoke with the other attorney and because my home is within city limits he was deciding if it should be handled through the city or state. It was my understanding the city picked it up and I went to city council in 9/13/17. The council decided Sadie could come home! But had been deamed vicious and had to be muzzled at all times when outside. I gladly picked her up and had been following all the rules! Today 8/19/17 I was informed they are holding a special city council meeting tomorrow 9/20/17 to revisit the issue with Sadie. Upon contacting the chief of police he informed me the state's attorney is unhappy with the outcome and is having another meeting to give his side if the story. City council can revoke their previous decision ! I was also informed the chief has been contacted by the atterony that the case was referred to, and the case will be taken to court as well! If this is not a power trip I don't know what is ! Please help me keep Sadie at home where she belongs!! She is the sweeties girl and loves my 2 children and any one who will pay attention to her! One mans pull with the town should not effect a dog getting taken from her family !
