Demand Wildlife Corridors in Chile!

Leon was the only dominant male in the population of coastal pumas in Los Choros, Chile. He was run over and killed in August. A few days later, a puma cub was also killed on the same highway.

No one knows how many animals are killed every year - every day! - on the Panamericana Norte, a new highway that splits Chile vertically into two. What we do know is that this fragmentation is dangerous and could lead to a dramatic drop in the number and genetic health of the biodiversity in the area.

New structures such as this one should be legally obligated to have wildlife crossings - large overpasses covered in vegetation that dramatically reduce road kill and accidents.

Help us give beautiful animals such as the puma and the guanaco a voice - sign to make wildlife crossings mandatory!

Estimado Ministro,
