With the introduction on In Vitro Meat/Cultured Meat, it has created a dilemma for farmers and ranchers throughout the United States and around the world. In Vitro meat is created from stem cells of an animal, grown with injectected protiens, and shocked in order for it to grow. If in vitro meat becomes affordable to consumers, it will make the global, 2 trillion dollar, cattle industry hit rock bottom and put the ranchers out of work as well as the farmers. If the ranchers can't afford to raise cattle, they won't be able to afford corn to feed. If the farmers can't sell corn to ranchers, then they can't make a living and will have to sell off their farmland. What then will happen to our cattle and other livestock?
If I get enough signatures, I plan to take this to a State Representive of Texas to be brought to the attention of others.
