Petition to help keep Mrs. Heidi Sidwell with her Kindergarteners in New Hampton at the New Hampton Community School!
We hope you will sign this petition because we believe there are better options for the current situation in Danbury than disrupting the New Hampton Community School kindergarten class and moving Mrs. Sidwell from New Hampton to Danbury. We the residents of the Newfound Area School District call on the Newfound School Board and Superintendent to keep Mrs. Sidwell as the current kindergarten teacher at New Hampton Community School. We would like to see the school board come up with a different solution to the situation in Danbury and not take her away from her current New Hampton class to become the new 1st grade teacher in Danbury.
Mrs. Sidwell is an incredible kindergarten teacher and has taught at New Hampton for over 21 years. The New Hampton Community School is her home and the kindergarteners here are her kids. New Hampton is her community and she has many families who know and love her. We call on the school board to allow her to stay in her current position and find another teacher option for Danbury. In Danbury, that classroom will need to be split and those students will be disrupted. Why disrupt another classroom and their teacher?
We call on the board to consider other options and find another solution that does not disrupt the current New Hampton kindergarten class. Mrs. Sidwell loves her kids and deserves to stay with her current class in New Hampton.
