Weather.com is a terrorist website. Their purpose is to alter your behavior constantly at all corners of your life. They are horrible at forcasting or at least that is what it seems. When they are wrong they create a gradual shift pushing it up until it evaporates making them look like they are adjusting according to data. The reality is they want to keep you inside to market to you. If that is agrued then the other obvious point is they hide their inability to get it right with horrible algorithms.
They promote fear into the animal kingdom and try to get people afraid of every animal, every interaction, every breath. They also promote continual end of the world mentality. These things are part of life and there will be great shifts in the future, but what is done on this site will not make you strong to contend with things, it makes you weak.
