As a longtime resident of Arizona I'm concerned about Healthcare and Social Services. The people of Arizona all deserve Healthcare we pay into our Federal taxes to help fund Social security and Medicare and we pay into our State taxes to help pay for ahcccs and social services why can't we raise the taxes a little more to help pay for healthcare and Social service's for all residents of arizona we could partner with a major insurance company to either help us build a model or want to agree to cover Arizona with the help of a tax increase this would include homeless/poverty/sliding scale income women/men/children all elder services placement durable medical equipment medications and variouse medical services physical therapy occupational therapy and even Dental help hearing aids diabetic supplies for arizonans with Medicare this insurance would be a secondary people who make more would obviously need to pay a slighter higher tax then those that make under a certain annual amount there would need to be committee to figure out what that would be for the financial part to figure out the annual incomes of various tax brackets in AZ there would also need to be a restriction for new residents of 1-2 years to be able to qualify for the Arizona insurance as residents of Arizona negotiate with either a Mexico or Canada on drugs to make it cheaper for the hospitals the doctors and the patients patients would still have co-pays not to exceed $50 for doctors including specialist and not to exceed $2,500 to $5,000 for major surgeries and $500 to $1,000 for outpatient surgeries this does include the ambulatory treatment units they would be covered with a smaller copay and would also be a secondary if the applicant has Medicare as primary and would be on a sliding scale for lower-income families this tax would also include the Arizona Department of Economic services specifically the children's area and foster care and vetting of proper foster parents and Social workers and the hiring more Social works for in-home visits after a child has been returned to its family for up to 5 years then annual until determined safe the children are the future and it's our responsibility to make sure it is safe and bright also include the immigrants who live here in Arizona they must prove they have been a resident of Arizona for at least the last 3 years and they must also pay in taxes if they are employed we could also include the Indian Nation with a secondary coverage if they are interested
