IMDB: Please begin an email death notification service

The wonderful and comprehensive movie site Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB.com) lists the birthdays of many of the people in its listings, and when it is notified that somebody with a page on their site has died, they add the death date. But, right now, there is no way of knowing that this has happened.

Often these deaths go unnoticed by the media, who only do obituaries about the most prominent celebrities. Movie buffs would be fascinated to learn of the deaths of even the most obscure cast and crew.

We the undersigned ask the management at the IMDB to look into creating a service in which subscribers would receive a daily notification (a text or an email) listing the people who have had death dates added to their IMDB pages. This would be very useful and interesting to movie fans, and of course would benefit the IMDB by driving more traffic to it.

Please help us celebrate the lives of hard-working movie professionals!
