Demand change in the algebra courses

I am currently taking algebra 2 as a senior I’ve done just fine in all my other math courses. But in this course there are so many things that I, and others feel that are not life applicable. It needs changed it is causing stress among many I know and it’s not fair to the student body who currently already struggle with math. I just personally do not think teaching this type of math is not okay and needed for most people in there future lives. I am either asking for the course to be looked over and changed or made non-mandatory.
