UK Government: Don't leave fishermen without a line! Secure a deal for our fishermen after Brexit!

  • by: Jack Waldron
  • recipient: Theresa May (Prime Minsiter), Micheal Gove (Minister for Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), David Davis (Minister for Department of Exiting of the EU)

Fishing is a, in some cases, multi-generation job that provides income to many who otherwise couldn't find jobs near the coast, ensures skills don't go to waste and ensures that Britain, as a tiny island in between the Atlantic and Pacific, doesn't lose out on one of its greatest commodities - fish!

To all those in government working to ensure a good Brexit deal, please ensure these fishermen get the deal they deserve. These men and women have families to provide for, provide meals for the country and the rest of the world on in some cases and deserve the same job security as everyone else. Please make sure quotas are fair and sustainable and fishing zones are protected!
