Protection for wildlife against neighbouring properties getting culling permits

Wildlife shelters need to make sure that when they release the wildlife that they have raised it is in an area that is safe. This gives the animal protection until it is comfortable enough to assimilate back into the wild.

Some shelter have been in operation for many years. Spent many thousands of dollars to set their shelter up and have lived harmoniously with their neighbour. The a neighbour sells his farm and the new owner applies for a culling permit. This is totally unfair for a wildlife shelter who spends so much time rehabilitating the orphaned wildlife for release to have it shot by a neighbour. I would like to add that one bag of kangaroos milk (20kg) is $360.00 plus delivery. This also applies to koalas and possum. This is not the only cost of feed associated with wildlife rehabilitation and on top of all of that each shelter pays their own vet bills.
This petition is directed at those who are responsible for issuing culling permits.
There should be a radius of maybe 10km around a wildlife shelter when a culling permit cannot be issued.
I am asking for all wildlife shelter, foster carers and people in general who love animals to sign this petition so that we may be able to get some protection for the wildlife shelters and the animals in their care. Can I ask that you share this petition with your friends asking for them to sign also.
