Please sign and share this petition in an effort to ask the Department of the Interior and Climate Change Specialists to stop delaying action on climate change that is threatening the existence of so many species of birds.  More and more species of birds are threatened each year because of our crazy, altering climate.

Scientists, Bird Life International and climate change specialist are concerned about the possible extinction of hundreds of bird species each year.  These fine-feathered beings fly only with the feathers on their backs, going across swamps, oceans, airless mountaintops in frigid and tropic conditions. Birds are in grave danger.

Globally, one in eight, more than 1,300 species, is threatened with extinction, and the status of most of those is deteriorating.  In North America's breadbasket, populations of grassland birds such as sweet-trilling meadowlarks are in free fall, along with that everywhere else on the planet. Graceful fliers like the swifts and swallows that snap up insects on the wing are showing widespread declines in Europe and North America. Birds are in peril everywhere worldwide, from Eagles to Vultures, Storks, Pelicans, & more. Read the full story at

We cannot live with the beautiful sight and sounds of various birds in our daily lives.  Much of their decline stems from the loss of places to live and breed—their marshes, rivers, forests, and plains—or by diminished food supply. But more and more these days, the birds are telling us about new threats to the environment and potentially to human health in the coded language of biochemistry. Scientists and climate change specialistshave been deciphering increasingly urgent signals from ecosystems around the world.

We need to encourage government agencies and climate change specialists to be a little more proactive in making the necessary changes that can save many species of birds that are so imperative to our environment.  Please sign and share this petition in an effort to ask the Department of the Interior and Climate Change Specialists to stop delaying action on climate change that is threatening the existence of so many species of birds.  More and more species of birds are threatened each year because of our crazy, altering climate.

Department of the Interior and Federal Government Climate Change Specialists – Please do not put so many species of birds in danger of extinction by delaying your efforts and actions on climate change.  Birds are a huge part of our environment and ecosystem; protect them and move forward enthusiastically with your efforts that can stop the treat of so many species of birds due to chemical dangers and drastic climate disasters.  Be more earnest and diligent in pursuing the climate changes that can ward off so many birds from danger of extinction.
