There are currently 3 cases before the Montreal Municipal Courts, Quebec Canada.
Three members of the same family are each charged with 38 counts of Animal Cruelty under the Criminal Code of Canada,(CCC) Sections 445 and 446. The prosecutor in this case is Me. Gerard Lague. Section 447 is extremely important as the court can maximize punishments.This case has been going on for some time now and has been put over several times now. Plea bargaining should be negotiated for Animal Cruelty. The persons charged are Margarita Golsaya case#113113914,Sergi Vorobiev case #113113906 and Alexander Vorobiev#113113898.

Please find attached a Petition signed by persons who would like to see that justice to done to persons who abuse animals.
We feel that plea bargaining is out of the question for people who violate animals.
As our petition sates, the Animal Legal Defence Fund finds that Quebec is a province that allows animal abusers to get off and without the full fist of the law.
It is the duty of the prosecutor to protect the animals of Quebec as stated in the criminal law of Canada.
I trust that you can review this petition and sincerely think about the horrendous crime that Margarita Golsaya et al committed against the dogs she haboured. What makes this case worst, is that Margarita Golsaya is a dog breeder and she should know better.
We also petition you to ask the court to enforce Section 447 of the Criminal Code of Canada and also request that Margarita Golsaya et al be banned from any breeding activities, having dogs, not to be engaged in any club activities that relates to dogs and such that the court may find.
