Ukraine Zoo, Thousands of Animals Facing Starvation

Recently in the Internet media a photo of the famished sick tiger appeared. In the comments they say that the tiger is kept in Nikolaev zoo. To refute the rumours we publish the photos of our tigers, made on 19 March 2014. At present we are keeping a group of three Amur tigers: a male Helios and two females Penelopa and Agrippina.  All of them feel and look fine and healthy. The photo of the sick and famished, presumably, Bengal tiger has nothing in common with Nikolaev zoo.

We address  the public with an appeal  not to believe the dishonest messages about the unproper treating of the animals in Nikolaev zoo. We invite everyone to visit our institution  and have a look at  all the animals.
In fact we had financial problems but they have been solved now.

Thousands of zoo animals are starving in Ukraine.

This has been the last reported condition a few months ago and after that, there has been no particular information available regarding the plight of the animals.

We humbly call upon the respective organizations to urgently help with provision of the animals needs please.

Extremely Urgent, Please Help

We earnestly call upon you to please help clarify regarding the following alarming news reports of animals facing acute starvation

We truly hope that all the related matters have been responsibly managed and the animals are adequately provided proper nourishment since the weather conditions now are far more demanding and with the fierce cold temperatures, it is our sincere hope that the animals welfare is being given the highest priority.

In anticipation of hearing from you soon with more updated information regarding the above clarification so that people all across the World can see and note the hopeful improvements and efficient management that is being implemented.

As you can particularly note from one of the news, (Quote - When people go to war, animals often get caught in the chaos. Trapped in zoos or fenced into game parks, they can’t escape... Like the thousands of starving animals in zoos across Ukraine where civil unrest rages. )

None of us mean any offense or ill will at all; we only have pure intentions and pray that all is well, in fact there are many concerned supporters who are requesting to know how they can help; but the reality is that what help your good selves can do truly starts with the very biggest help since the situation has been very challenging and frightful.

Before concluding also, the reason for speculation and lots of uncertain information remains because there has been no updated information regarding this life challenging matter for extremely long period of time, you are all there and know the facts, so please help dispel the uncertainty by coming forward with the respective clarifications please.

Please remember, we are not demanding, rather we are humbly appealing and calling upon you for your good willed support regarding the animals welfare. Whatever response is received shall be updated on this platform to ensure that what you clarify is featured for everyone to review, so please do kindly help provide us the much needed good news that the animals are safe, well protected and properly fed please and also if there maybe any other information you may wish to specify, to express, please do take the liberty to do so accordingly.

Once again, we respect your efforts in helping and taking good care of the animals and seek your understanding that we are all deeply concerned and every element of our efforts are having the animals as well as your very best interests at heart please.

Glad to note that the animals are being well cared for and unable to send the update since the time limit between updates can permit update posting till tomorrow evening. Henceforth meanwhile, this update is being posted within this petition immediately.
