Lets put an end to moratoriums that affect the rights of property owners.
Encroaching on property owner rights in the City of Minneapolis needs to stop. There was recently a moratorium on building any home in southwest Minneapolis. Now there are people pushing a moratorium on rental licensing. A moratorium on license renewal would leave rental property owners with unlicensed rentals.
Moratoriums like these discourage investment in Minneapolis and artificially depress property values.
We need the city to stop catering to complainers. We can't let a small group of unreasonable complainers encroach upon our rights as property owners.
These moratoriums need to stop. Therefore I propose a moratorium on moratoriums that affect property owner rights.
