Demand That Both Dogs Be Taken Off Of Christina Kendall

A Scott County woman was charged with animal cruelty after authorities found her dog's paws literally frozen to the ground outside of her home earlier in the week. Christina Kendall, 28, was arrested at her southern Indiana home on Friday.

According to wlky.com, Scott County Animal Control Officer Denny Robbins was tipped off to the cruel conditions by a neighbor. When Officer Robbins arrived at Kendall's home on Tuesday, he discovered a chained chihuahua and a cocker spaniel living in disturbing conditions. The only protection from the temperatures in the low 20s was a sleeping bag. The spaniel was in a barrel with frozen water.

Allegedly Kendall ignored the officer's demand to care for the dogs.

Both dogs were removed and are now receiving care for sores on their paws and genitals.

Kendall has ten days to pay the fees for taking care of her dogs or they will become the possession of the shelter. She is due in court in February.

This woman does not to deserve to ever have another animal again. Why would these dogs be returned to her?We the petition signers demand that these dogs not be returned over to her ever again. They should be placed in proper foster care and found 4-ever homes where they will be  taken care of.She has already proven that she cannot take care of them properly, and has even stated that she cannot provide them with the proper care and shelter that they need.

It states "Kendall has ten days to pay the fees for taking care of her dogs or they will become the possession of the shelter". She is due in court in February.

She does not deserve these dogs, they have suffered enough with her.

Thank you very much for your time on this urgent and important issue, she is due back in court in February.
