Stop the Attack on Indonesia's LGBTQ Community

Indonesia's LGBTQ community is under attack.

Homosexuality is actually a crime in the Aceh province, and two men were publicly caned after being convicted of engaging in gay sex.

The attack on gay rights doesn't just stop in Aceh. Although homosexuality isn't technically illegal in other parts of Indonesia, police officers are finding other ways to punish LGBTQ community members. In Surabaya, 14 people were arrested for holding a gay party, and even in the capital city of Jakarta, police officers arrested 141 men for attending a gay party.

How are they getting away with this? By charging gay men with breaking Indonesia's anti-pornography laws.

Being gay is NOT a crime. Sign the petition and urge Indonesian President Widodo to stop the attack on Indonesia's LGBTQ community!
