Demand the Canadian Government Condemn Human Rights Abuses in the United States of America

The leaders of the Canadian government have been all but silent on the brutal murder of George Floyd at the hands of officers of the Minneapolis Police In their actions, MPD officers committed abuses of human rights, (UNDHR Articles 3,5,6, respectively) and these actions must be condemned internationally. To say that "racism exists in Canada" is not enough. I implore all federal leaders to make a statement or statements officially condemning the systemic abuses people of colour face from law enforcement in the US. To be silent on this issue is to be indignant in the face of justice. Black Lives Matter.
