Second Chance at Lifehttp://dingo.care2.com/pictures/petition_images-tmp/643/1466635300-267398-wide.jpg

We all make bad choices as young adults. He deserves a second chance at life.

My husband is in prison and has been there for 18 years 4 months and counting. The crime he committed was being a rear passenger in a vehicle that the front passenger shot a gun out the window and killed an innocent bystander. He did not pull the trigger, the lady shot was not targeted and nobody was supposed to be shot. At the time there were 5 young (19-22yrs old) males in a vehicle driving around a night club and 1 of them made a horrible decision that affected them all. Even though it was witnessed to and DNA proven whom the actual shooter was all 5 went to prison. In alabama you are charged just the same for being present. I have the case file and newspaper articles to support what I am saying and know to be the truth. He is eligible for a parole hearing and what I am asking of you is to sign a petition in support of him having a second chance at life free from incarceration. To hope that the parole board will have mercy and feel that 18 yrs and counting is a long enough incarceration period for the role he played as a passenger. In the last 2 years he has completed the brick masonry course provided by Gadsden State Community College to the inmates. He has also never had a violent disciplinary during his time of incarceration.   He is not a violent person or threat to public safety.
