Tell Alexander McQueen to Take Action Against Racist Company Practices!

Black celebrities such as First Lady Michelle Obama and performer FKA twigs have worn Alexander McQueen's glamorous fashions at high-profile functions. Unfortunately, two black employees at Alexander McQueen's Madison Avenue store are suing four of their managers, Alexander McQueen and Kering Americas, Inc., claiming that the company has racist patterns.

According to court documents, the company rejects African-American applicants seeking high-visibility positions, and only hires African-Americans to work in jobs behind the scenes, where they're rarely seen by customers. The lawsuit also claims that African-Americans are only visible to customers when they're being searched for suspicion of theft, while white suspects are searched in private, after closing hours.

This is the third time in as many years that Alexander McQueen is being accused of racist practices. It is time for the brand to take responsibility for the racist patterns that others have noticed and documented. Please sign the petition to urge Alexander McQueen to train all their employees and managers on civil rights in the workplace.

We, the undersigned, are concerned about reported patterns of discrimiation at your Madison Avenue location.
