All around the world we are informed about the deforestation in Brazil. This is an evidence. But we are less informed about the deforestation in Ecuador.
Ecuador holds the world record with an annual deforestation rate of 1.7%, ahead of Brazil (0.6% / year) ! At this rate, there will be no primary forest in Ecuador in 2070.
On this basis, it is expected the total disappearance of the Amazon to 2150 years.
Despite the fact that Amazon forest is the largest equatorial rainforests in the world, it is destroyed so quickly that the evidences and the results are so important, even easily visible from Space ! Please check yourself for example in Google earth or in Google map, and you will see the dramatic and horrible result of deforestation seen from space !
It is a shame that a so beautiful and rich country as Ecuador is still destroying its amazingly beautiful forests, that are so important for many species of animals and plants, forests that are so important for the whole planet, and for the future of next generations

Please replant trees in order to neutralize the deforestation, and please protect the old existing forests
