Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity and happiness of the people; and not for the profit, honor,power, control, or private interest of any one man, family, woman, and/or class of men or women: Therefore the people alone have an incontestable, inalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter, or totally change government; and to the same, when their protection, health, prosperity and happiness require it;Whereas it is the duty of government that they should secure the consent of the governed;
Whereas all legitimate consent requires the ability to withhold consent;
I, the undersigned withhold my consent for any plan, program, or reform that places the health and well being of any citizen under the control of my government. It is a fundamental right to not be deprived of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as duly noted in our Constitution. Any vote on government control of our healthcare system would give government the right to deny or delay treatment directly, indirectly, purposefully, and/or without malice, that could cause the imposition to deprive a citizen of their life.
By tax or by charity to preserve a life or ones health should not come at the expense of another man's, woman's, or child's pursuit to maintain their own life and/or health in the best manner possible, by their own means, and of their own ingenuity, productivity, earnings, or wealth.
Whereas I the undersigned can withhold consent when such choices are in violation of the U.S. Constitution; I herby declare that any vote for the aforementioned healthcare legislation will be in violation of a Congressmen's sworn oath to protect and defend the Constitution; and as such you will no longer be recognized as a U.S. Congressman by the governed and defiant, for your sworn Oath is a prerequisite for the consent of the people and of my consent.
I allow this petition to be copied for purposes of distribution to each member of congress to witness my hand and my Defiance.
