When Veterinarian Kristen Lindsey killed a cat, it wasn’t in the clinic where she worked or out of mercy. She did it as sport and then bragged about it on Facebook.

See her picture with the cat:

When Ms. Kristen Lindsey saw a cat on her property she did not act as we would expect a veterinarian to. She did not try to find out who the cat belonged to or take it to a shelter. Instead, Kristen Lindsey shot the animal in the head with a bow and arrow, posed with the body in a picture, posted it on Facebook, and wrote: “My first bow kill lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through its head. Vet of the year award…gladly accepted!"

Media reports say the cat was likely not feral, but a tabby named Tiger that belonged to a neighbor.

Kristen Lindsey has already been fired from her job at Washington Animal Clinic. She has since deleted the photo and taken down her Facebook page

Lindsey still has an active license that is not set to expire until March 2016. She has not received any disciplinary action. To see the photo she posted:
