Demand Equal Opportunity for Ex-Felons for Employment to have Same Rights as Non-Felons

Most businesses hire with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) signs posted somewhere on their website, doors, or applications. What the EEOC does is enforce various laws which prohibit employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information.  But this law does not assist everyone!  This law has forgotten many people in fact!

Ex-felons with Theft of Porperty, Theft by Receiving, Theft by Deception, Retail Theft, Burglary, and any other form of stealing has a significant amount of difficulty getting a job. As well does other felonies. Even though we, as ex-felons, can be bonded by the United States Department of Labor through the Fidelity Bond, and the fact that this bond does not cost the employer anything for that ex-felon to be bonded, are having problems getting gainful employment.  And the EEOC does not consider the rules and regulations of employment as a discrimination for ex-felons, only for the non-felons.  This is unfair even though we committed the charges we have on our records, we still need to have fair employment.

Please help me to make the laws for everyone!  Ex-felons have paid their time by being in prison, and going through all the different stages of rehabilitation.  Even when an ex-felon goes through these steps and does as Society wants us to do in order to become part of the Society again, they discriminate against us ex-felons by not giving us the opportunity to prove that we are not going to do what caused us to go to prison in the first place.  We should have that chance to say that we have changed.  Not to be sterotyped by Society as a standard ex-felon.  We are not all the same.

Please help me to stop the abuse that Society is doing by not letting them win, and giving the ex-felon the chance to feed, clothe, and make a living for themselves.  Lets please change the laws to include the ex-felon in the discrimination laws.  Because it is a form of discrimination.  We have the knowledge for the job, have the experience, and the training.  So put us to work already!!!
