Urge James Hardie to Maintain Levels of Compensation Funding for Asbestos Victims

James Hardie has cut asbestos compensation fund payments by 44 per cent, according to a report on ABC.net.au

The report stated the building products company cut its contribution to its legacy asbestos compensation scheme despite increases in its profit and cash flow.

The move has drawn criticism from the Asbestos Diseases Foundation, which described it as "morally bankrupt" as "victims don't die by instalments, they need lump sum payments".

Victims of asbestos need care and compassion - many are facing sickness and even death as a result of exposure.

Will you join me in urging James Hardie to take care of those who have suffered as a result of coming into contact with asbestos and maintain funding levels for compensation?
