Let Simmons Students Attend the Superbowl Parade; Terminate Tuesday Classes!

The students of Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts are torn between their civic duty of experiencing the cultural phenomenon that is the Patriots' Super Bowl 51 Parade, and their dutiful obligation to classes and learning. While it could easily be argued that the Patriots will win future Super Bowls and that there will always be another parade, few Simmons Students will ever have an opportunity like this again; where this experience is happening right in our own backyard. Terminating classes tomorrow will not terminate our learning. There is a greater understanding to be offered when we are allowed to experience a celebration such as this. Cancel classes. Give us joy.
