Supreme Court Justice nomination by the People!

    Dear Nominated politicians,

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg touched the heart and soul of so many of us in her unyielding and passionate quest for equality and upholding the U.S. Constitution. Even in her dying request she was still upholding the values and beliefs of our Founders, that the Supreme Court of the United States represent all of the people of this land. As a reminder, Justice Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.”

Everyone that we have talked to, texted with, and emailed, wants to see her request fulfilled. We might not be powerful in wealth and status, but we are still “The People” and we intend to use our Constitutional rights to ensure that the real heroines and heroes of our time are respected and that they continue to guide us to be a better nation and people. The Supreme Court judges should reflect our communities and their constituents through representation of different religions, ethnicities and color, as well as gender. For example, when we have six Catholic judges out of nine it means they are more likely to impose their religious beliefs as laws even when Catholicism is a minority in our society. Our Founders wanted to separate church and state when it comes to decisions. Simply, we must have civil laws for people of different walks of life to abide with.

Please honor and respect the work and life of Justice Ginsburg, and that of the law of our land in the Constitution. A new Supreme Court appointment and confirmation is only fair after a new president is installed. We the People demand to be heard and our cry is to uphold the Constitution.

thank you for your attention and for respecting the wishes of the majority of Americans.
