Stop Debt! Teach Us Financial Education!

To the State Board of Education:

May you look at the prospects of having a classroom dedicated to financial responsibilities. I strongly believe that this is a great solution to the debt crisis growing in America. For every child that grows up to be an adult, wouldn't it makes sense that they know how to be financially prepared for the business world? Just imagine what one class can do for these young minds & the ripple effect it has into their future, & inevitably our own. If this doesn't persuade you, take my story for example. I was 19 years old when I was thinking of going to college, but all I had was an idea to pay off school loans. I had to help my mother pay the bills & watch my little brother because we couldn't afford the luxury of a babysitter & struggled with bills as it was. In the social system it is very likely money is involved & when you don't know how it works and what to do in it you will become lost & that is so hard on a person. As I was trying to find a way to deliver my family out of this obstacle I was at the library & I miraculously found a book.

This book is called “The Automatic Millionaire” by David Bach. This was the same book that helped me pay off all my school loans, that helped me pay off my car loans, the book that helped make me a comfortable living regardless of my income. It helped me save, spend, & pay all my bills, when all I did was follow what it said & was successful all within 5 years. This being just my story, imagine how easily it can become every American's story. All it took for me was an education. I believe strongly that this very simple task and practice will create every student with a plan to pay off student loans & every American to have a more realistic reach to their  goals. Please make it a necessity to create a classroom for Financial Education.
