My name is Zach I live in Ohio and I am only a teenager. Me and my girl friend made the mistake of creating a child and she is currently 3 months pregnant as I write this petition. Her parents are forcing her to move with them to South Carolina where they will let her stay with them until finding a maternity home in that area.
This is killing me as today is moving day for her and I love her and I am sure there are many teenagers who will face the same issue in their time as teen pregnancy is a huge issue. I grew up without a father and I know what it would be like if they do not let me know when this child is born because this means no paternity test can be completed which means I will have no legal rights to the child.
Some teenagers will want nothing to do with the child and that is their right but how about those like me who want something to do with them but are watching their loved one move away with their unborn baby? It kills and many do not understand the feeling. I ask that you all help support me in the fight to get this moved up the ranks somehow and make the people of the USA realize we need change.
**I am asking for a law to be created impeding the moving of pregnant teens who are not moving with their soon to be babies father. It is to late for me but for some soon to-be poor teen mother/father it isn't. Just because we are teens doesn't mean we do not understand love and the responsibilities of parenthood. **
She needs me just like I need her love is love and a baby is a baby.
