Demand healthy school lunches now

Childhood obesity has become an epidemic in the USA. Now it seems our so called President Trump wants to support the epidemic by putting our children's school lunch safety checks at risk. He wants to allow our children's school lunch to be bare minimum and full of fat and preservatives. Unfortunately, for some children, this is the only well rounded meal they receive during the week. Our children deserve better.

He also doesn't mind that junk food can be readily available to the children in school and actually supports this. He is also supporting a less understandable food ingredient label.

I propose to the American farmers to please stop making our children's food with genetic engineering, steroids and hormones. At the same time, American farmers, think of how this will effect your children too and the future generations.

I hope with this petition local farmers will choose to support healthy school lunch and even donate some of their crop to their local schools. I propose that local restaurants and chefs get on board offering their healthy recipes to their local schools. Local grocery stores get involved and please help your local schools with healthy alternatives for our children and the future generations.
