People are cheating the system instead of using it for what it was originally created for. There is no need for someone on section 8 to be given $2,200 a month for housing which can go to a mortgage. People who don't work and pay into taxes don't need $668 dollars a month for a family of 4 in food stamps. Someone who is getting free housing, free food, free medical, free cell phones and utilites assistants has no reason at all to want to get a job. Welfare was created for a hard time that ENDS not ment for a person to be on for 18+ years. I say we end this abuse and start making things right again for our state and get out of debt.
Dear Governer of Arizona,
We need to re evaluate how our EBT and welfare funds are distributed and who qualifies. We need to limit what they can purchase such as fresh/ frozen meats, fresh/ frozen vegitables and fruits, dairy, beans, rice and water. They should not be able to purchase soda, energy drinks, candy, and alcohol etc... We need to limit the amount of time they are allowed to be on welfare and how much they are given. A family of 4 does not need $668.00 a month in food stamps. If we allow them to be on this system for a year or two like unemployment we would have a lot more people trying to better there lives instead of staying on welfare. Please review the rules of the welfare system and help Arizona get out of debt.
