THE FULL UPDATE I RECEIVED ENDS AT THE TWITTER LINK

I RECEIVED THIS TODAY

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) Tribal Council meeting will be held on April 11, 2013.  Hopefully a decision determining the quality of live for the bears and the rest of their lives can be made. The Owner of the Cherokee Zoo claimed that the pressure is coming from the “outside” of the Cherokee and not the decision of the Cherokee people.

The Chief wants public input and has blocked all the emails to the council members. Please go to tripadvisor and by comment let the Chief and Cherokee know that you oppose the holding of bear in cement pits and the abuse of the bears.

If you are a resident of NC and oppose Puppy Mills, please make your voice heard.

Dear North Carolina Advocate,

In honor of Puppy Mill Awareness Day on April 5, be a voice for animals during North Carolina In-District Humane Lobby Day!

What is “In District” Humane Lobby Day you ask? That means this year you will visit your legislators that live in your area. No need to drive to Raleigh! In-district lobbying is the perfect way for you to get to know the animal advocates in your area and the lawmakers who represent you.

Want to join your fellow North Carolina animal advocates April 5th?

Sign Up here and we will contact you shortly with additional information.

Thank you for all YOU do for animals!
