Carpenter Fired For Rescuing a Raccoon: Demand He Get His Job Back!

Todd Sutton, a carpenter in San Francisco, arrived at the Museum of Modern Art one morning when he found out that he was not alone. Inside one of the metal traps on the construction site, a baby raccoon was messing around.

The raccoon had been causing trouble, as raccoons are known to do, so the builders hired professional trappers to have it removed and euthanized.

Sutton knew about the animal's fate, and decided to save the healthy raccoon from being euthanized. But Sutton's employers did not agree with his decision to spare the racoon -- and Sutton lost his job because of it.

Todd Sutton did what any sane human would do -- he saved the innocent, healthy raccoon. He did not deserve to be fired for his humane actions! Sign the petition to demand that Sutton gets his job back!

We the undersigned urge you to rehire Todd Sutton, a carpenter in San Francisco, who was fired simply for saving the life of a healthy raccoon that was to be euthanized. Sutton did what any sane human would do -- he saved the innocent, healthy raccoon. He did not deserve to be fired for his humane actions! Please rehire Sutton as he did nothing wrong. Thank you.
