No more license fee. Fund the BBC through taxation, stop punishing the poor.

As we see this Government remove the free TV license subsidy for our pensioners, let's overhaul the system and make the BBC payable through taxation. The poorest among us are punished and even fear switching on their tv (for some, their only company) because even if they didn't watch a single BBC production they could face fines, and in the long run even imprisonment - like the situation the poorly Belfast granny found herself in. Similar to the current taxation system, those earning the least wouldn't have have to contribute.
