CHANGE RULES FOR VOTING IN PORT ARTHUR, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS

For voting in the 2018 election, everyone was limited to vote depending on the precinct they lived in. This is an unfair practice. Everyone in the city should have the right to vote for any candidate regardless to what precinct they live in. If you did not live in the precinct where the candidates that were running held the precinct, you were not given the option to cast a ballot for any candidates for that office. In order for us to effect change in Port Arthur, Texas, these voting rules and regulations need to give all citizens the right to vote for anyone running for office, regardless of what precinct they live in.
