Free Diego the Lion!

Diego, a young lion captured by Mexican wildlife officials during a criminal investigation, has been suffering in Mexico City's Zacango Zoo for nearly two years. Video footage shows the lion pacing back and forth by himself in a small chain-link cement enclosure. Diego is clearly stressed, bored and lonely, and his life at the Zoo has no enrichment.

A U.S. Sanctuary has offered to receive Diego the lion. At the sanctuary, he will have ample space to express his natural behaviors and other lions to keep him company. Please sign the petition to urge Mexican authorities to transfer Diego as soon as possible to stop his boredom and suffering at the Zoo.
