Justice for Recess who was intentionally shot in the mouth

On Friday, November 21st, Recess got outside. His family heard him crying at the door. When they opened the door,  he ran in and hid under the table. His mom knew something was wrong and went to check on him. They were shocked to find Recess had severe injuries to his mouth. Ir was later confirmed he was shot in the mouth.  A neighbor overheard two juveniles talking about how they caught one and there was a blood everywhere. When they saw the neighbor was outside, they quickly stopped talking about it. Please, at the very least, question them. The Hanover Township police were called out to the scene. When the Police questioned the two juveniles who were overheard talking, they concluded they didn't do it.  The vet caring for Recess said that the gun was placed inside this cats mouth and shot. This cat is friendly and sweet, non-aggressive and ran home after being shot. Hanover Township police we are asking for a proper investigation to be done, those responsible punished and justice for Recess. Whomever is guilty of this heinous act, then it is up to our Police Department to act.  Animal abuse is not acceptable and we want justice for Recess. They have been seen by neighbors building make shift traps in the woods where the stray cats and kittens live. The owner of Recess took apart and threw away the trap and in the past two kittens were also found deceased in the dumpster near the same area. We as a community are very disturbed and upset by this and want Justice for Recess. Please do a thorough investigation before more harm is done to innocent animals/anyone.   The VET providing medical care for Recess said the injury was deliberate and we are asking for an investigation and punishment to those responsible for this cruel and despicable act. Thank you
