Heart Mountain was named descriptively, due to a limestone deposit at the summit. Now that Canada's 22nd Prime Minister has concluded his term in office, it would be fitting to change the name of this mountain in his honour.
Stephen J. Harper is the third Prime Minister from Alberta, and is by far the most successful. At almost ten years in office his accomplishments have been remarkable and our country is stronger than ever.
What better way to honour his leadership than by dedicating a timeless monument to his admirable leadership of Canada?
