Petition to allow backyard CHICKENS (No roosters) in Freeport, Ill

We, the undersigned citizens of Freeport, IL. respectfully request our leaders to act now to change the City ordinance to allow up to 10 hens, no roosters in the backyards of residential zoning districts under certain restrictions. We feel this is necessary for the sustainability of our community, green living, education, children's activities and local food supply. This step will contribute to Stephenson County sustainability. Please hear our request.
