With 10,000 or more signatures Government with have to take our idea seriously and 'encourage' the National Trust to adopt it as a new approach.

We just want them to let local children into the grounds of their properties for FREE (just by having a utility bill from home in their pocket).

BUT, why shouldn't kids on the doorstep benefit to? NT make a great play of promoting the benefits of the outdoors to members and potential members.

Maybe children nearby have parents aren't so interested, or the annual membership isn't a priority to those families? Neither is their fault. Why shouldn't they be given a chance? So many opportunities for local children to discover and share the wonders of secret gardens, pasture and woodlands in grounds of our nation's greatest places.
