The Pie Town Rising Stars, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, in concert with the citizens of Pie Town, NM and its surrounding community seek funding and local support for the construction of a new Multi-Purpose Community Center.
Pie Town has become internationally famous for great Pie, its Dark Skies and its geographical location on the Continental Divide. These attractions to Pie Town continue to manifest themselves by the evidence of significantly increased traffic, tourism and local residential development.
The local accommodations and services are simply inadequate and they restrict Pie Town's ability to 'hold' the many visitors who pass this way for a slice of pie. The proposed Multi-Purpose Center would serve as a Welcome Center, rest and relaxation stop, as well as a community facility to host the Pie Festival and other local events.
Pie Town Rising Stars and its supporters believe that this is a first and essential step in restoring and improving Pie Town, to make it a viable, profitable and sustainable community for generations to come.
