Petition for On-Campus Food Pantry

Every year 40% of food produced in America is uneaten and goes to waste. Colleges contribute to 22 million pounds of that. Meanwhile 1 in 6 people struggle with food insecurity. By redistributing just 15% of the food that's wasted we can feed 25 million Americans for a year. Help end hunger by signing a petition to support the recovery of uneaten food from Chartwells that would otherwise be thrown out. The food will then be redistributed to students, faculty and staff who are struggling with food insecurity.
