The gruesome photos speak for themselves. Blake Fischer does not belong on a commission whose mission is to preserve, protect, and manage wild animals.
Fischer, the Idaho Fish and Game Commissioner, and his wife went "trophy hunting" in Africa where he killed and then proudly posed with with the beautiful animals killed in cold blood — including a entire family of baboons.
He then shared pictures of him grinning with the baboon family grusomely posed as if the male was sitting upright and the murdered baby in its mother's lap.
What he has done is so despicable and vile it is clear he has no empathy or concern about wild animals; the creatures he is paid to protect and manage. He stated his wife wanted to watch "so I shot a whole family of baboons, I think she got the idea quick". He reported they killed at least 14 animals, including the baboon family, giraffes, and a leopard.
It's clear from these photos Fischer does NOT have the temperament to make decisions about animals and wildlife conservation. Idaho's hunter-education manual states that hunters like refrain from taking graphic photographs of the kill — and even pro-hunters from have criticized his cruel and gruesome actions, saying: "It's everything we preach against in hunters education ... it just send the wrong signal."
