Prince George's County has been faced with the conversation of adjusting the term limits for the County Executive and County Council for decades. Prior to the summer recess, the County Council voted to have the Term Limit issue to be put on the ballot and have the voters decide whether or not to extend the term limits.
Many citizens have already expressed their concerns and voices opposing this idea. They are in many instances unhappy with the work that is currently being done by their representatives and are not looking forward to another 4 years of the lack of services, community engagement, and representation.
