Should police persue a vehicle if they know it has no mot

    Itv news reported an article about a lady run over by a car on police chase .
    The police took chase after the car flagged up having no mot .
    The police don't know the defects of the car and taking chase puts the safety of the general public at risk ( I.e brake failure, bald tyres) .
