Legalize ferret ban

People should sign this petition because ferret have been domsticated for a long time even before dogs they are harmless and I don't get why they are considerd a wild animal or why is it ban in New York or in Californa imagine if your child or grandchild is interested in a ferret and wants it for his or her birthday and Christmas and they say no because we have a dumb law that bans a harmless animal
