About a year ago my father went to jail for molesting a boy that at the time was about to be 16 years old. The court only looked at the case as if the child was the only innocent victim. I believe because, I knew the boy that he isn't a victim at all. He continued to come over to my house to "hang out" with my older brother. If you were being hurt you wouldn't knowingly keep coming over to the house of the person. This boy has been abused as a child by his parents. I feel that this was a way of getting his parents to pay closer attention to him. I just would like to have my father back. He is almost 58 the third of August and he was given a ridiculous sentence of 44 years. In my opinion the court didn't realize that this man has a family of his own. They treated him as if no one would miss him or notice he was even gone. But, it's quite different because, my father was a well known man in my city. I am almost 14 years old and I need a father. He may not be here for my highschool or college and it saddens me. Children need a father to show them how to drive, play sports, build things, what boys to date, and just there to hold there hands. I miss him dearly. Please help me get my great father back. Thank you.
